Video

The British Canoe Union will provide, free of charge, a video service showing all athletes during the competition event.

Each Team will receive 2 female phono cables: Feed A and Feed B.
Please note: The video feeds will be switched by the video organisers. If you would prefer to switch yourself then you will need to contact the video organisers (john.macleod@gbcanoeing.org.uk) prior to the event. We will also expect you to have the appropriate equipment to carry this out.
To record the 2 feeds you will need 2 camcorders with "AV in" and the appropriate video leads for your camcorder.
NB: Most camcorders have a jack connection into the camcorder with 3 male phono leads (1 yellow for video, and 2 (1 red / 1 white) for audio) which connect to external. In this case you will only need the yellow phono lead which will connect to the female phono lead that we provide in the picture to the right. female phono lead
You then have the option to use your DV port (using 4-4pin firewire) on your camcorder to connect to your laptop. You can choose to do this "live" or post event.
NB: If you wish to capture both feeds live then you will need 2 firewire leads / laptops as well as 2 camcorders.
NOTE: The important issue to check is that you have appropriate camcorders which allow:
- AV in
- DV out
